Larry I. Magid has been managing financial assets since 1974. He began his career trading ag commodities at Trinity Valley Foods and Southwestern Foods. In 1987 he joined A. G. Edwards & Sons and continued until 2008 when it was acquired by Wells Fargo. He escaped in 2014 and joined Baird, as he puts it, to get back to his A. G. Edwards roots.
Larry graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Price College of Business in 1971 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance. He continued his education with post graduate work at SMU.
Larry splits his time between Dallas & northern NM with his wife Kathy. They have four children & eleven grandchildren. When he’s not working, he enjoys golf, skiing and travelling.
